Simply unspeakably delicious, and a small and incredibly nice team. I like to eat there. And in lockdown you can pick up food for home - even this is decorated and prepared with so much love and tastes perfect at home too. All thumbs up!

Saturday October 24th, 2020 4 p.m. - an absolutely stressed, dismissive, unfriendly waitress who initially sent us back out of the guest room, completely annoyed, and made the three of us wait 20 minutes outside and only then asked if we could get something to eat, replied that she could not serve us inside or outside, so that we left hungry after a 2 hour hike with child. We will never go here again ... .

Very good hearty cuisine, very friendly staff

A beautiful restaurant with the best rum steak that I have ever tasted. The salad with roast beef is also worth coming back. The service was very friendly and met our every need. Extras weren't a problem either, even though it was busy. You should definitely make a reservation. Price-performance ratio is great and we will definitely be back.

Very nice staff and great food

You can hardly believe it! Not down in the city, up on the mountain there is still really good Thuringian cuisine. The food was great, fresh chanterelles, delicious dumplings the meat on the point. Selection was good and the prices reasonable for the quality. Unfortunately, therefore, it is probably not an insider tip!

Country inn with very friendly service and decent home-style cuisine.

We had been looking forward to the restaurant for men's day, reservation 1 day before was not possible. We really didn't want us as guests since there was only one cook and the waitress told me a long wait. Sorry, but there is no need to complain if business is not going well. No BBQ with bratwurst and steaks, and that on men's day. There was delicious eggnog

Super delicious food with a very good price-performance ratio in a cozy atmosphere. Is perfect as a hiking destination. You should call ahead on the weekend and make reservations if necessary.

The guest can expect a home-style cuisine in a beautiful rustic village restaurant. The dishes were delicious and cooked to the point. The service is fast and very friendly. It is advisable to book in advance, as the restaurant was very well visited. The value for money is good, so I will come back.

.... and we take off this star again, because we did not even get the opportunity to get to know the restaurant. We were informed immediately upon entry, that for today, it was 20.05 clock is over. When we asked if we could get something to drink, came the clear message "Outside is not served and inside is full". Thus, we had to take care of other things and will not visit this restaurant to give a better rating.
